About Sodium Nitrate

Sodium Nitrate is the widely used chemical compound with the formula NaNO3. It is a salt, also known as "Chile saltpeter" or "Peru saltpetre. It is a white color solid which easily soluble in the water. It is widely used as an ingredient in fertilizers and as a food preservative, and as a solid rocket propellant, and in glass and pottery enamels. Moreover, the Sodium nitrate powder is also created industrially by neutralizing nitric acid with soda ash.
