About Silica Fume

Silica Fume is a product of producing silicon metal and ferrosilicon alloys. It is widely used in concrete. Due to its chemical and physical properties, this fume is very reactive pozzolan. The concrete containing silica fume can have very high strength & can be very long lasting. In addition, it is available from suppliers of concrete admixtures and, when stated, is added at the time of concrete production. Silica Fume in concrete is available in wet or dry forms.
