About Calcium Peroxide
Calcium Peroxide is a solid peroxide with a white or yellowish color. For all practical purposes, this chemical is insoluble in water but will dissolve in acid to form hydrogen peroxide. The fact that it can release hydrogen peroxide when combined with acids means that it can also be used as a bleaching agent. It is also useful in the bleaching of hair products and textiles.
